Designed specially for 16 and 17 year olds, the NCS experience gives young people a clearer idea of what they want from their future. Over 500,000 young people have already taken part across the UK.

You get to mix with a new crowd and take on fresh challenges together. Along the way you gain a taste for independence and pick up skills that’ll help you smash your future goals.

In your first week you’ll live away from home and nurture your adventurous side. That’s where Level Up Outdoors comes in!

Since 2019, we have been proud to be an official venue for this phase. Whether you take on the high ropes, raft building or bush craft, one thing we can guarantee is that by the end of your week you’ll feel fearless (and pretty worn out)!

Not only will you overcome challenges and learn more about yourself, you’ll also meet people from all sorts of different backgrounds and make friends for life. Don’t worry, you’ll have the weekend back home to catch your breath before the next phase of the programme.
